For more than 38 years, music has been my passion, but what truly drives me is creating moments people remember long after the last song ends.

My career began in Boston after attending the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, where I earned an internship at legendary Kiss 108 FM. There, I worked alongside the iconic Matty in the Morning and helped produce the station's high-energy lunch-hour mix show with Program Director Sunny Joe White. Those early years in radio taught me something that still defines every performance today: music isn't just about playing great songs, it's about creating energy, building emotion, and knowing exactly what to play next.

In 1988, I launched what would become Class Act Productions & Entertainment, a mobile DJ company, that gave me the opportunity to perform at thousands of events across the country. Along the way, I had the honor of being a Disney Fairytale Wedding & Event DJ for 14 years, and I've also had the privilege of entertaining some noteworthy people like Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis, Boston Celtics Hall of Famer Dave Cowens, boxing legends Marvelous Marvin Hagler and Buddy McGirt, legendary songwriter Steve Dorff, country artist Phil Vassar, and nationally syndicated country radio host Blair Garner, who was host of After Midnight with Blair Garner which aired on over 300 iHeart radio stations nationwide.

While many DJs focus on simply playing music, I've always been fascinated by creating something people haven't heard before. That passion led to DJ Special Ed, my creative outlet for producing high-energy mashups, remixes, and seamless open-format mixes that blend genres, decades, and unexpected songs into one unforgettable experience.

​

Today, those mixes have built a worldwide audience of more than 12,200 SoundCloud followers and over 5 million streams, along with 5,000+ Mixcloud followers and more than 500,000 streams. Whether it's classic rock, pop, country, dance, hip-hop, or throwback favorites, my goal is always the same: take listeners on a musical journey filled with unexpected twists that leave them wondering... "Where is he going to take us next?"

That passion for creating unique musical experiences has opened the door to some incredible opportunities, including serving as the Official In-Stadium DJ for the 2026 Union Jack Classic at London's iconic Wembley Stadium, where I'll perform for more than 90,000 fans as Kansas and Arizona State face off in one of college football's premier international events.

Additionally I've also had the honor of performing for 25,000 runners at the St. Jude Rock 'n' Roll Nashville Race Series and 30,000 runners for The St. Jude Memphis Marathon.

 

My mixes have become favorites of fitness professionals and are played by coaches and members at Orangetheory Fitness, F45, CrossFit, and gyms around the world.

While I'm honored to have earned industry recognition, including multiple WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards, and Best of The Knot Awards, those accomplishments are simply milestones along the way. At my core, I'm a music fanatic who loves reading a crowd, pushing creative boundaries, and creating those moments when people stop, smile, and ask...

"Wait... how did he think to put those two songs together?"
